The historic Keswick Theatre is a 1,300-seat performing arts venue in Glenside, housed in a restored 1928 building designed by Horace Trumbauer. Its reputation for strong acoustics makes it a fitting room for live comedy, where clear delivery and timing matter. The venue is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Seating is assigned, with orchestra seats on the main floor and mezzanine seats offering an elevated view of the stage. The theatre reports excellent sightlines throughout, so the best choice depends on preference: orchestra seating keeps audiences closer to the performance, while the mezzanine provides a broader perspective. Accessible seating is available through the venue.
Parking is available behind the theatre and on nearby streets. The rear lot uses kiosks; guests may bring their event ticket to the box office for a parking voucher within 15 minutes of parking and before paying. Street parking is metered on N Keswick Avenue and surrounding streets at $0.25 per hour, enforced Monday through Saturday until 8 p.m. Check posted signs carefully, as parking in restricted areas may result in towing.
